Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Kilidestination Tours’ services, including bookings, tours, and related activities. By engaging with our services, you agree to comply with these terms.
2. Booking and Payment
Reservations: All bookings must be made through Kilidestination or an authorized agent. A booking is considered confirmed upon receipt of a deposit or full payment, as specified in the quotation or invoice.
Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required at the time of booking, unless otherwise agreed in writing. The balance is due no later than 30 days before the start date of the tour.
Late Bookings: For bookings made within 30 days of the departure date, full payment is required upon confirmation.
Accepted Payment Methods: We accept bank transfers, credit cards, or mobile payment methods approved by Kilidestination. Bank fees or currency conversion charges are the responsibility of the client.
Pricing: All prices are quoted in U.S. Dollars (USD) and include government taxes, park fees, and services stated in the itinerary. Prices are subject to change due to currency fluctuations, park fee changes, or tax updates.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
Client-Initiated Cancellations:
More than 60 days before tour: Full refund, minus non-refundable deposit and any unrecoverable third-party costs.
30–59 days: 50% refund.
15–29 days: 25% refund.
Less than 15 days: No refund.
No Shows: No refunds will be provided for failure to appear or late arrivals.
Company-Initiated Cancellations: In the rare event Kilidestination cancels a tour due to force majeure, safety concerns, or minimum participation not being met, clients may choose a full refund or reschedule without penalty.
Trip Interruptions: No refunds are given for unused portions of a tour once it has commenced.
4. Travel Insurance
Clients are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and personal belongings.
5. Health and Safety
Medical Conditions: Clients must inform us of any pre-existing medical conditions that may affect their participation.
Safety Compliance: Clients are expected to adhere to safety guidelines provided by our guides.
6. Liability
Adventure travel involves inherent risks. By booking a tour, you acknowledge and accept:
The potential for altitude sickness, physical strain, or injury during mountain treks or safaris;
That wild animals, variable weather, or rugged terrain may present unpredictable hazards;
That Kilidestination Tours is not liable for loss, injury, delay, or damage arising from circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, road conditions, government actions, or third-party service failures.
Clients are responsible for their own personal safety and property at all times.
7. Use of Images
We may capture photographs or videos during tours for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to appear in such materials, please inform us in writing before the tour commences.
8. Privacy Policy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Personal data collected during booking (e.g. name, contact information, passport details) will only be used for travel arrangements, customer service, and legal compliance. We do not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
9. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any disputes or legal matters shall be handled exclusively by Tanzanian courts.
